Q: How often will I receive surveys?
A: Your first survey, worth 100 points, is presented as soon as you sign up and confirm your registration. Future survey invitations will be emailed to you at random times. There may be longer periods where you do not receive a survey, but on average, you will be invited to participate every four to six weeks. The best way to ensure that you will receive the most surveys is to keep your profile information accurate and up-to-date.

Q: Do I need to do anything to be eligible to participate in CD or DVD video surveys?
A: No. All E-Poll members are already eligible for CD and DVD video surveys.

Q: Can I save a survey and come back later?
A: It is recommended that you complete a survey in one sitting. However, if necessary, you may come back to a survey and pick up where you left off as long as the survey is still open. Please note that most surveys are only available for a limited time and to receive your points you must complete the entire survey.

Q: I received a survey invitation, but I can't click the link in the email.
A: Try to cut and paste the link in the email invitation into your Internet web browser address window and press the 'return' key. If that does not work, use the 4-digit number from within the link and enter it into the address bar of your web browser so it looks like this:

Q: I was invited to take a survey, but when I tried to login I was told the required number of responses had already been reached.
A: Occasionally we receive more responses for a survey than we need or faster than we expected. Responding quickly to your E-Poll survey invitations will increase your chances of being able to participate in the survey. We apologize for any inconvenience, but remember: we send out new surveys all the time, so check your email often.

Q: I was asked to watch a show on my television, and I did, but I have not received the follow-up survey. When will the survey arrive?
A: Typically the survey will be emailed to you when the television shows ends, however there are some instances where it may take an hour or two before it gets delivered to your Inbox.

Q: I was asked to watch a show on my television and then complete a survey. Can I record the show on my DVR and watch it later before completing the survey?
A: Unfortunately, no. You must watch the show "live" at the specified time and complete the survey shortly after the show airs.

Q: I have a WebTV (now known as "MSN TV") system, and I am no longer able to take surveys.
A: E-Poll is continuously upgrading its survey system to provide the best survey taking experience. Unfortunately, some of these upgrades require a modern Internet web browser. The web browser that WebTV/MSN TV uses is not compatible with our survey system. If you are using WebTV, you will not be able to participate in E-Poll surveys.

Q: I was completing a survey and received an error message. What should I do?
A: Our technology department works hard to ensure a smooth experience for our members. Occasionally a problem occurs that is unforeseen. Often times the problem can be resolved by restarting your computer. If that does not allow you to continue, please contact E-Poll Customer Care and submit a detailed description of the issue (including the exact error you receive). We sincerely appreciate your feedback and will work quickly to ensure things are back to normal.

Q: I was trying to take a survey, and I received the message "It appears that there is a problem with your web browser that is preventing you from continuing with the survey."
A: The most likely problem is that the settings on your computer do not allow for "cookies." Either they have been turned off through your Internet web browser, or you may have add-on software that blocks the use of cookies (see http://www.cookiecentral.com/faq/ for more information.) Please enable or allow cookies and login to the survey again from the link in your email. If you are still unable to complete the survey, please contact E-Poll Customer Care.

Q: What are the minimum system requirements to participate in E-Poll surveys?
A: To take our basic surveys, you will need to have a modern web browser that is able to accept cookies.

Supported web browsers include:

Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer
Firefox 1.0 or newer
Safari (any version)

Some of our most entertaining surveys include video, which requires additional software components. Please see the following FAQ for additional information.

Q: What are the minimum system requirements to participate in streaming video surveys?
A: To participate in surveys that include streaming videos, you must use a supported web browser and have Java installed on your computer. We recommend Sun's Java which is available at no cost from www.java.com.
